Took a photo of this yeaterday and have been really struggling to capture the delicate luminosity. I like the background but the rose itself is overworked and 'heavy' I think I may have to go and pick it and try drawing it from the real thing.

You've mentioned before that you overwork your subject. What's the learning? The title to this pic captured my attention - your titles as much as your pics are magnetic. Keep exploring ...it's facinating to view the style development. Maybe your blog needs to link with others so that more people have access to it? It's inspiring!
